UK foreign secretary arrives in Lebanon for talks.

Beirut, 1 December: British Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett arrived at Rafiq al-Hariri International Airport at 1815 [1615 gmt] this evening, coming from Amman on a one-day official visit to Lebanon.
British Ambassador to Lebanon Frances Guy and Mira Violettes [name as transliterated], assistant chief of protocol at the Lebanese Foreign Ministry, received Beckett at the airport.
