EUROINDIA FORUM IN GOA TO DISCUSS URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
NEW DELHI, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - To launch an interaction between experts of European countries and India about urban development, Industry body Confederation of Indian Industries and Euro Centre has jointly organised a four-day EuroIndia forum on urban development.
"India is facing the same issues of water supply, sewage, solid waste, urban transportation and new and old towns that Europe faced around 30-40 years back. We now understand, in hindsight, what we did right and where we went wrong," EuroIndia Centre Secretary General Michel Sabatier said.
Every city has to find its own unique solution but the forum would give them business models that have worked, he said.
