DHL followed suit with other express carriers by raising its base rates for 2007 and reducing its air fuel surcharge index.
The new base rate for air and international express will go up an average of 5.9 percent and the fuel index will fall 2 percentage points, effective January 1. Ground shipment rates will increase 4.9 percent.
