Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) says it has outlined a strategy to lead the global bioenergy industry, and expand ADM's "premier" position in the agricultural processing value chain. The strategy includes potential investments in Indonesia to produce biodiesel using palm oil, and in Brazil to produce ethanol from sugar, ADM says. The company says it is also considering other unspecified locations worldwide to produce biofuels based on carbohydrates.
