SHENZHEN, November 30, SinoCast -- The world's biggest retailing chain is in talks to invest in Elec-Tech International Co., Ltd, a household electrical appliance manufacturer based in Guangdong, southern China, local media reported. Wal-Mart is talking with the Chinese company for the moment in an attempt to acquire a majority stake though they have not yet signed any written agreement about price, a source was cited as saying. While Deng Fei, an official at Elec-Tech, said he has heard of no such news at present, Deng refused to rule out the possibility that his company will join hands with Wal-Mart in the future.
