Section: General News - An attempt to legalise the sale of the two-and three-digit lottery has landed the interim government in trouble as key anti-Thaksin activists are stepping up opposition to the move, the Bangkok Post reports.

Anti-graft activist Rosana Tositrakul on November 22 joined Maj-Gen Chamlong Srimuang, leader of an anti-Thaksin Shinawatra group and now member of the National Legislative Assembly, in opposing the proposed amendment of a law to allow the Government Lottery Office (GLO) to legally sell the digit lottery tickets.
