Section: Government & Politics - Chamlong Srimuang called on the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) to drop the amendment draft of the Government Lottery Office (GLO) Act to avoid setting a wrong standard to the society.

Chamlong Simuang, NLA member and key leader of the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD), said the NLA meeting on November 29 should not accept the amendment draft of the Government Lottery Office Act submitted by the cabinet. He cannot attend the November 29 meeting as he was scheduled to go abroad on that day.

He elaborated that if NLA accepted the draft, it would set the wrong standard to the society. …
