YOKKAICHI, Mie -- A man who was stopped and subjected to a breath test Friday thought he had hit on a way of getting off scot-free; and was duly surprised when police arrested him for eating the piece of paper with his test results.
Hiroki Ito, 28, a plumber from Yokkaichi, is accused of destroying an official document and drunk driving, police announced on Saturday.
