A story on Britney Spears' surprise appearance at the 2006 American Music Awards (AMA) topped the page-view rankings on the MSN-Mainichi Interactive's entertainment section in the week between Nov. 17 and 23, followed by an article on pinup model Jun Natsukawa.

Spears, whose marriage, childbirth and recent divorce have kept her in the entertainment news limelight for the last two years, appeared as a surprise presenter at the 2006 American Music Awards held in California on Nov. 21.
