SARASOTA -- Sarasota and Riverview advanced to the finals of their respective divisions in the Sarasota High Thanksgiving Tournament Tuesday night.

Sarasota needed penalty kicks to settle its' semifinal game with Manatee High. The Sailors defeated the Hurricanes 1-0 (5-3 in penalty kicks) to move into the Elite Division finals.

Riverview got a late goal from Kyle Large to upend Saint Stephen's 2-1 to advance to the championship of the Premier Division.

Riverview will face George Jenkins at Gene M. Pillot Field at 6 p.m. George Jenkins knocked off Fort Myers 5-3 in another Premier Division contest.…
