The Trade Department has cracked down on retailers that have violated a recent department order to use one tag price and banning them from surcharging credit card transactions.

Trade Assistant Secretary and regional operations group head Ma. Theresa L. Pelayo yesterday announced that the Trade department would file administrative charges against two appliance stores in a Mandaluyong City mall after agents found out that the store continues to put two price tags in their products and charge additional fees on credit card purchases.
