Beep-beep. Beep-beep.
I'd just picked up my youngest son from college, and we were driving home in an Infiniti M35x. Something kept beeping-barely audible over the XM radio. But I saw no light on the dash.
Beep-beep.
There were two laptop computers in the car, and two cell phones. All emitters of distinctive beeps. It was none of them. It had to be the car. But what was it telling me? I called up the info screen. No help.
Beep-beep.
It was getting cold, right at the freezing mark... a low-traction warning? I jumped on the gas and got the usual traction control light on the instrument panel and a different noise. So that wasn't it.
