SARASOTA -- Four area boys soccer teams found their way into the semifinals of the Sarasota High Thanksgiving Tournament.

Riverview, Saint Stephen's, Manatee and Sarasota High all recorded victories in the opening round of the tournament Monday.

Riverview's Dan Meacock recorded a hat trick by scoring three goals to help the Rams defeat Fort Myers High, 4-2, in the Premier Division at Ihrig Field. Riverview will now face Saint Stephen's in the semifinals tonight at 8 at Ihrig Field. It will be the first meeting of the two schools in soccer. Saint Stephen's topped Venice 6-1 to reach the semifinals.
