The National Academy Foundation President John J. Ferrandino Announces his Retirement Effective in 2007
Board of Directors Appoints J.D. Hoye as New President Effective January 1, 2007
NEW YORK, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Academy Foundation (NAF) announced today that John J. Ferrandino, President, will retire later in 2007.
The Board of Directors appointed J.D. Hoye, President of Keep the Change and a former director of the National School-to-Work office in Washington, D.C., as the new President, effective January 1, 2007. Mr. Ferrandino will continue to serve as interim Chief Operating Officer and advisor until his retirement. "It has been a privilege and joy to lead the National Academy Foundation for nine years and to see the emergence of NAF's career-themed, college preparatory model as a tool for nationwide high school reform," said Mr. Ferrandino. "J. D Hoye combines a vision for national education reform, with a passion for the development of all young people that will help lead the National Academy Foundation to its next level of growth."
