Nov. 19--Talent, beauty on display at annual holiday events Pageant is Wednesday at Westin; parade is Thanksgiving Day Steve Lyttle One of the Carolinas' longest holiday traditions will be renewed this week with the 59th annual Carolinas Carrousel Pageant and Parade in Charlotte. The Carolinas Carrousel is really two events -- a scholarship and awards ceremony Wednesday night at the Westin Hotel in Charlotte; and the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Thousands of dollars in scholarships will be available at Wednesday's event. A highlight will be the crowning of the Carolinas Carrousel queen. Last year's winner, Andrea Blanford of Jay M.
