Nov. 16--A 45-year-old mother was arrested Wednesday and accused of bringing two of her daughters and a man to East Mecklenburg High, apparently to confront a student she believed had threatened her son. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police Sgt. Randy Hagler said the 15-year-old boy called his mother Wednesday morning and told her he was afraid of being beaten up after school. Hagler said the mother, Inez Horne, the two daughters and a 20-year-old man went to the school.
