South African mobile group Vodacom increased its subscriber base by 34.7 percent to 25.8 million at the end of September, compared to the end of March. Net profit rose to ZAR 3 billion from ZAR 2.4 billion on a revenue which increased to ZAR 19.4 billion from ZAR 16.18 billion. EBITDA also increased, to ZAR 6.6 billion from ZAR 5.56 billion. The customer base in South Africa rose by 28.1 percent to 20.2 million. …
