Nov. 15--COCONUT CREEK -- Police are investigating two beatings and attempted sexual attacks on women at a community college campus and a nearby vo-tech center, police said on Wednesday.

Police spokeswoman Judie Banks said a female student at Broward Community College's Coconut Creek campus, on the 1000 block of Coconut Creek Boulevard, was attacked in her car around 9 a.m. on Tuesday. The woman said the man forced his way into the car, beat her and then tried to rape her. She managed to kick the man and flee.
