Nov. 11--lake norman jewish group WBT morning personality Al Gardner looked a bit peaked as he downed another cup of coffee in his home recently.
Gardner had just spent five hours producing a CD in his cramped, second-floor home studio for the Lake Norman Jewish Congregation.
He wanted to keep going, but the singers knew he needed a nap, especially with commitments that night. He'd been up at the usual 2 a.m. for his show that morning.
"I love doing this," Gardner said. "It's something I don't do every day."
