Can't think of a better final retirement place. Never too hot--ambient temperature hardly varies. And when it does, air conditioning kicks in to compensate. The view's not much to speak of--if you're used to Chicago's skyline--but every locale has its tradeoffs. Central Florida you say? No, a controlled environment vault (CEV), the ultimate in retirement digs--final, that is.

Or a good place for telephone equipment. A distant cousin to burial vaults (one manufacturer got started that way), CEVs are buried, watertight containers housing switching, pair gain and/or transmission equipment. Usually made of pre-cast concrete, they always come in two parts.
