Nov. 10--LINCOLN -- The Richardson County deputy sheriff who shot a woman in August was released from jail Thursday after being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and refusing a chemical test. Assistant Falls City Police Chief Duane Armbruster said a Falls City police officer took Todd A: Landis, 42, into custody Wednesday night. According to Armbruster, a citizen called the Falls City police about 7 p.m. to report that Landis was driving under the influence. The officer that responded found Landis riding his motorcycle around town. Landis allegedly refused to take a chemical test, which is against Nebraska law, Armbruster…
