6.50am Make first bowl of porridge.
7.15am Go for a run. Thirty minutes around the track at Paddington Rec, accompanied by several new and nameless tunes recommended to me by Dan, our head of design.
8.00am Second bowl of porridge.
8.15am Get cab to work. Glad I live near a Tube station, the cabs that pass are more likely to be available.
9.00am On my way to traffic meeting, ask Tracy (my PA) to add a soya decaf latte to her coffee list. She refuses, saying that the person serving might think it's for her.
9.30am Having dealt with most work e-mails, I concentrate on the latest betting on The X-Factor. Not a vintage crop, and no clear winner, so money could be made here.
