Section: Economy - The Thai economy is adjusting to the new trend following the political crisis and the presentation of the Government's policy statement in the National Legislative Assembly.

Standard and Poor's Ratings Services has recently moved Thailand from its watch list after the political change in the country on 19 September 2006. The rating agency said that the outlook of Thailand is stable. It affirmed its BBB+/A-2 foreign currency and A/A-1 local currency sovereign credit ratings on Thailand.
