E-learning recruit develops LexisNexis tools

Legal publisher LexisNexis Butterworths has appointed an e-learning specialist to help the company develop new training products for its legal, tax and corporate clients.

Ann Hemming, currently the director for knowledge management and training at Welsh law firm Hugh James, will join in December.

She told IWR that law firms are increasingly looking towards e-learning as a cost-effective and flexible way of training their staff. "In my experience, law firms and other professional organisations are embracing technology," she said. ...
