Nov. 8--Eleven town sports figures will be inducted into the Branford Sports Hall of Fame, Nov. 17th at Woodwinds Restaurant in Branford. Tickets are $40 per person with cocktails being served at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m.

THE INDUCTEES:
--Kenneth Bray attended Branford High School from 1941 until the time of his deployment into the military in 1944. As a member of the Hornets basketball team, he was part of back-toback Class B State Championship teams in 1941-42 and 1942-43. He left school early to fight in World War II and was stationed on the USS Texas in Normandy as part of "D-Day", Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and Cheberg as a Seaman First Officer.
Within the community, Bray was involved in the Branford Little League program in many capacities.
--Paul Criscuolo has been one of Branford's most valuable volunteers and contributors to the youth community. Criscuolo was a past President and founder of the Branford Hornet's Nest Junior Football, and coach and commissioner of the Shoreline Youth Football League. He has been an active member of the New Haven Board of Approved Football Officials, New Haven Gridiron Club, and Vice President/Secretary of the Gene Casey/New Haven County Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame.
--Robert A. Gaffney was an All-State swimmer for Branford High School. As a junior, he was Branford's top state qualifier in the 100 yard-breaststroke and in 1982-83 was part of the 11-3 Class M State championship team and a state finalist in the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard medley relay.
