EDITORIAL: This Vote Is About Change, And More Is Needed: BLUE OR RED, A CLOUD HANGS OVER THE ELECTORAL PROCESS.(Editorial)

Nov. 8--WHAT DOES America look like this morning? Even though we don't know at this writing whether the U.S. Senate will follow the U.S. House in turning from red to blue, we can say something about the true colors of America by looking at the sheer numbers of the vote.

"Drop-offs" is political slang for voters who come out in presidential years but stay home for the midterms. This year, the election might have turned on the people who stayed home, not the people who voted.
