Petrochemical Corp. of Singapore Pte. Ltd. (PCS) has let three contracts under a planned total $3.4 billion expansion of Singapore's Pulau Ayer Merbau petrochemical complex.
PCS is a 50-50 venture between Shell International Petroleum Co. Ltd. and a Japanese group led by Sumitomo Corp. Plant expansion is intended to double production capacity and make PCS one of the largest ethylene producers in the region (OGJ, Mar. 7, Newsletter).
