Several insurance companies are being investigated by the Arizona Department of Insurance, officials say, because they have not filed the necessary information to qualify as an accountable health plan under new state law.
Any insurance company wanting to provide health insurance to employer groups was required to become an accountable health plan as of Jan. 1, according to a law passed by the Legislature last year.
