Nov. 3--A three-officer bicycle squad stopped a 42-year-old man for jaywalking Wednesday, then arrested him on suspicion of stabbing a man to death in Belltown last week.
The officers were on routine patrol when they stopped the man just after 5 p.m. in Seattle's Chinatown International District, said Seattle police spokesman Jeff Kappel. They verified that the man was a suspect in the slaying and arrested him, Kappel said.
The man is in custody in the King County Jail. His bail was set at $1 million.
Seattle police were called at 4:49 a.m. Oct. 24 to an apartment in the 2300 block of Fourth Avenue, where two men had been fighting. Inside, they …
