Nov. 2--Gang members in Charlotte have been tied to vandalism, robberies and homicides in recent years. More than 1,800 have been identified and investigators suspect four times as many are living here. Now, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are teaming with parents and neighborhood leaders to make sure they know how to tell whether their kids are in a gang and what they can do about it.
