Facts have emerged that most of the sacked police officers were accused of corruption. The revelation comes barely a week after over 70 police officers were sacked by the government. The police spokesperson, Willy Marcel Higiro, in a telephone interview yesterday, said that most of the police officers who were sacked on various counts of indiscipline had been established to be corrupt, soliciting bribes during operations.
