Seoul, 31 October: South Korea said Tuesday [31 October] that it welcomes North Korea's decision to return to the six-way talks on its nuclear programme.

"The government welcomes the compromise on the resumption of the six-way talks made on the occasion of the three-way meeting between the United States, North Korea and China," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement issued by its spokesman.
