Business chamber row simmers in Mindanao.

Davao City - An offshoot of its falling out with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the Mindanao Business Council (MinBC) has started recruiting local chambers as affiliates.

Romeo Serra, chairman of the organization, said local chambers can now directly affiliate with the council. "We have drawn the line [between the council and the PCCI]," said Mr. Serra in a press conference yesterday at the SM City Davao.

While he declined to name which among the local chambers have affiliated with his group, he told local media to keep watch on what would happen in the coming days. This developed as officials of the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry have yet to agree on whether to rejoin the PCCI after leaving …
