Oct. 31--A Minnesota direct-mail marketing company will buy a Wilson County plant that was scheduled to close next year, sparing 440 jobs that were in jeopardy. IWCO Direct also plans to create an additional 98 jobs over the next two years and invest nearly $30 million in new equipment at the printing and distribution facility in Elm City during the next three years, said Debora Haskel, vice president of marketing.
IWCO announced Monday that it has agreed to buy the plant from Cox Target Media, a Florida company that sends Valpak envelopes stuffed with coupons to 45 million households each month. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.…
