Booming Province to Have Own Bank.

SHANGHAI, October 31, SinoCast -- Jiangsu Bank will likely be set up this December as Jiangsu Province in eastern China vows to better serve its local economy and a population of over 70 million people. Preliminary preparations, such as the checking and evaluation of assets, have been completed. The bank, a newly established one, will be headquartered in Nanjing city, the capital of Jiangsu. The bank is being consolidated from the province's 10 city- level lenders, the prominent among them including Wuxi City Commercial Bank, Suzhou City Commercial Bank and Nantong City Commercial Bank.
