THROUGH THE years, the Inquirers multipurpose room has undergone many transformations. At one point, the staff got so hooked on playing darts that it was made into a game room. But that backfired when the concrete floor got pockmarked from inept players missing targets.
The same room has also been used for aerobics, Taebo and Pilates by employees. Sometimes, its the rehearsal room for the companys amateur singers and musicians, at other times a mess hall. But for the most part, it serves as a venue for company meetings, seminars and lectures.
So it was quite a pleasant treat when one evening, that same room transformed into a virtual garden …
