Worries that the Chinese economy may be overheating seem to have abated with recently released economic data. The National Bureau Of Statistics reported last week that China's gross domestic product grew 10.7% in the first the first three quarters of the year. While this is still a healthy clip, it is markedly below the 11.3% growth witnessed in the second quarter.
In addition, the bureau reported a 16.2% growth in industrial output in the third quarter, which is almost a 200-basis point decline from the second quarter output figures.
