France Telecom has released subscriber figures for fixed and mobile subsidiaries in Africa at the end of September. The company's mobile customer base in Senegal rose to 1.76 million from 1.47 million at the end of June and 919,000 at the end of September 2005. Home phone lines grew slightly to 274,000 from 273,000 and 267,000 respectively.
