Taipei, Oct. 27, 2006 (CENS)--Taipei prosecutors' office subpoenaed Jeffrey Koo Jr., vice chairman of Chinatrust Financial Holding, yesterday (October 26), requiring him to report to the office for explaining the dubious bid of Chinatrust to acquire Mega Financial Holding. The prosecutors disregard Koo's itinerary for his on-going visit to the U.S. at the invitation of Eisenhower Fellowships, saying that it is not a justified reason for his failure to appear at the office, for which he will be put on the wanted list.
