Zamboanga City - The regional office of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) has dispensed 50,000 fingerlings of hybrid tilapia last week in this city and in the nearby municipality of Ipil in Zamboanga Sibugay.

BFAR regional director Virgilio A. Alforque said the dispersal of the new tilapia hybrid breeder is in line with the fisheries program to promote the culturing of tilapia in the Zamboanga peninsula.
