Through the years, Habitat for Humanity Philippines (HFHP) has made itself known as an organization that reaches out to the less privileged communities by helping them build decent homes. Having provided homes for 15,000 families in more than 100 communities, the organization intends to speed up its way to its goal of building 50,000 houses by 2011 by stepping up housing projects in various regions.

This is also the organization's way of commemorating the National Shelter Month, which was declared through an executive order from Malacanang.
