EFFORTS by two Baganda politicians to have the Kabaka Yekka party registered suffered a set back on Thursday.

The Constitutional Court halted a petition challenging the Electoral commission (EC) and the Attorney General's (AG) refusal to register it on discovering that it lacked proper pleadings.

The court ordered the petitioners' counsel, the EC and the AG to reframe their issues. The petition will be heard in the next convenient session.
