Thailand: Pol. Gen Surasit resimes position as assistant police chief.

Section: General News - The police have welcomed back into their ranks Pol Maj-Gen Surasit Sangkhapong shortly after he stepped down as director of the Government Lottery Office (GLO), the Bangkok Post reports.
Police spokesman Pol Lt-Gen Achirawit Suphanphesat on October 19 confirmed that police chief Pol Gen Kowit Wattana and the Police Commission had approved Pol Maj-Gen Surasit's request to be reinstated to the police force.
He would resume his last position as an assistant police chief, but the division he will be reporting had not been decided.
