THE growth of the local smart handheld devices market slowed slightly in the second quarter of this year, influenced by a huge drop in sales of pen-based handheld devices.
According to research firm IDC, the market dropped 1.9 per cent compared to the preceding quarter. But the figure was 10.5 per cent higher than the same corresponding period last year.
