The Managing Director of Vestergaard Franddsen, Mr. Kim Rasmuseen, has revealed that the country spends N132 billion on treatment, prevention and loss of man hour annually to malaria. He said that available data has shown that about 110 million cases of the disease are treated yearly in the country, 60 per cent of which are outpatients, while 30 per cent are actually hospitalised, while 300,000 children die each year.
