Uganda will be represented by six boxers at the inaugural ANOCA U-20 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya in December, reports James Bakama.

A trial will be staged next month to select the team for the fully sponsored Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa meet. The games, due December 1-5, will also feature athletics, cycling and basketball.

"We want the selected boxers to first train in their clubs before we call them to camp," said national coach Dick Katende at the weekend.
