(From Vanguard (Nigeria) - AAGM)
Byline: Kingsley Omonobi
MILITARY authorities yesterday in Abuja said they had nothing to do with the current political crises engulfing Ekiti and Plateau States warning that any attempt to drag the military into purely political problems or disagreements among politicians would be resisted.
Director of Army Public Relations", Col. Ayo Olaniyan who spoke to Vanguard, said, "To start with, their was no iota of truth in reports that the army deployed its personnel to Ekiti State and that soldiers took over the government house. There was nothing like that. No soldier whatsoever was sent to that State"
