Oct. 18--BEDFORD -- Beverly Ferrandino of Bedford has resigned herself to the fact that she's going to be a band booster for a long time.

Her daughter Josie, a senior, is in the color guard at L.D. Bell High School, and her 6-month-old son, John, is already working his first musical instrument: a rattle. "I've put a tambourine in his stroller," Ferrandino said. "I'm going to be a band mom forever."
