Oct. 16--The sewing spree began after an exasperating shopping trip for a swimsuit.
Hitting store after store, Pamela Levenson couldn't find a fashionable suit that fit well -- meaning it would keep her covered if she decided to go for a swim or lean over to pick up a shell.
The Victoria, B.C., native stayed up until 4 a.m. the night before her Mexican vacation and sewed several suits in her favored retro style.
