Taipei, October 13, 2006 (CENS)--In the wake of the inauguration of the "Cross-Taiwan Strait Tourism Association" on October 10, Joseph Wu, chairman of the Cabinet-level Mainland Affairs Council (MAC), expressed his wish yesterday (Oct. 12) for accelerating the pace of cross-Strait negotiation so as to cash in the check of allowing Chinese tourists to visit Taiwan by year end.
